Why this page exists

This page records changes made to WittyNames that a reader would notice: pages added, policies published, tools fixed. It is kept short and factual, newest first. Small typo fixes are not listed.

September 2026

• 9 September 2026 — Trust and policy pages published. The site previously ran with its generator and category pages only. Eight standing pages were added and linked from the footer: About, Contact, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Disclaimer, Cookie Policy, Editorial Policy and this changelog. Nothing in the generator changed.
• 9 September 2026 — Footer navigation added. Until now the footer had no link to any policy page, because none existed. A footer menu was created so every page on the site reaches them in one click.

Before this page existed

WittyNames ran for some time as a generator with category pages and a blog, without a written change record. We are not going to reconstruct that history from memory here — inventing dates would defeat the point of the page. Entries from 9 September 2026 onward are recorded as they happen.
