Write to us

The quickest way to reach WittyNames is by e-mail: [email protected]. One person reads everything that comes in, so please put what you need in the first two lines.

What we answer quickly

• Take this name down. If a suggestion on the site matches a real person, a brand you own or simply crosses a line, say which page it is on and we will remove it. This is the request we handle fastest.
• Something is broken. A button that does nothing, a page that will not load, a name that copies with strange characters in it. Tell us your browser and phone or computer model — it is usually the fastest way to find the cause.
• A correction. If we have got a character limit, a platform rule or a spelling wrong, send the page link and what it should say.

What we cannot help with

• We cannot rename your account on another platform, recover it or unlock it. Only that platform can do that.
• We cannot tell you whether a name is legally available as a company name or trademark. That needs a search in the right register, and often a professional.
• We do not take paid placements inside name lists.

Suggesting names

Suggestions are welcome and we do read them. We do not promise to publish any particular one, and we edit for length and tone before anything goes into a list. Please do not send names built around a real person.

How long we take

Takedown requests are dealt with first. Everything else is answered when we can, usually within a few working days. If you have not heard back after a week, it is fine to write again.
